Video: Mother Abusing Child At Walmart

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XyHJ9dxosU8

I watched the video four times, and I'm furious. There is a reason that those women were recording her BEFORE this happened. As told in the video, the women recording had been hearing the incubator yell at the child for a while before whipping out the camera.   People don't just randomly start recording strangers for no reason, unless they are being super weird or testing out their phone.  They were hiding behind a shelf video taping, FOR A REASON.

I also checked the time stamp on the video, and it was 2 seconds for her to sit down  (after being told to)...then the buggy was YANKED forcefully.  (I can tell you that if MY kids are in a cart, even sitting, I don't YANK the cart that hard...I slowly make turns, slowly push the cart, slowly turn around, etc).  Also, she looked dead into her child's face BEFORE she yanked and then yanked as soon as she checked behind her to make sure no one was in her way....so someone being behind her cart was more important then her daughter actually sitting down.

The way the woman wouldn't even drop her phone to see if her kid was hurt - that's messed up.  She cares very little about her daughter and her head bang.  If she truly cared, she'd of dropped her phone and checked out her daughter immediately.  Instead, phone still attached to her head/hand and she's screaming like a crazy person.

Also, I'm even more concerned for the little girl simply because of the broken arm...not because I feel the mother probably broke it (though, wouldn't be surprised)...but because she might of landed on it or made it worse!  Why did the "mother" not check her daughter's welfare immediately?

Did no one else notice that another woman is the one that actually attempts to comfort the little girl, BEFORE the mother gets involved?  When the mother finds out there was an audience, THEN she is all in there guns blazing...but NOT because her daughter might be hurt...just because she is being confronted for her lack of empathy.  Also, the "mother's" comfort was her vigorously rubbing her daughter's injured head...because we all know that we want our heads rubbed that hard AFTER hitting the concrete floor!  Not very fucking comforting, at all.

Yes, it *could* be excused as an accident, but once you review the video several times...you can see this mother just absolutely does NOT care about her kid.  She obviously was paying more attention to behind her (where fatty wanted to go) and to her phone, rather then the safety of her child.  She doesn't even look SORRY for what happened.  Not ONCE does the mom say she is sorry to her child (I would be like OMG, BABY I'M SOOOO SORRY!!! ARE YOU OKAY?????).  Because of the lack of empathy, no apology, the yanking (with no time for the little girl to react), and the mother's reaction to being confronted...yeah, she's a terrible "parent".

Oh...and when people say: "She's fine, just ASK her"...that's usually what abusive people say.  They do it to intimidate the child into saying what they are TOLD to say, so the parent doesn't get into trouble.  Just look at the Omaree Varela's case.  I have seen abusive parents do this time and again.  What you SHOULD do, is get a trained professional to ask the child AWAY from the mother (and even then they could still lie due to fear).  You NEVER ask a child in front of someone that is potentially abusive, NOR does an untrained person ask a child these questions.  It just goes to show, this mother knows NOTHING.  Asking that child won't prove a damn thing.

It does NOT take much to cause a hairline fracture on a baby or child's skull.  I would be very concerned if I was that mother....but, she wasn't concerned at all.  Just pissed that someone was confronting her.  Also the priceless line of: "I didn't mean to do that one", says more is going on then we saw here.

On a side note: Just because someone is wearing a soccer uniform, doesn't mean that they play soccer.  Outfits like that are sold very cheaply and all over the place, especially at thrift stores.

Update:  There is apparently another video where the mother is screaming at her daughter BEFORE this happens, too.  This is what caused the women to start video-taping in the first place.
