Big Love: Season 1, Episode 5

I'm not sure why Nikki seems to think she has so much power in this "plural" marriage. Technically, Barb isn't married to the two chicks, she's just married to Bill. If she wanted to become a stripper, it's none of Nikki's business. It really doesn't affect those two at all, besides that Barb's money is supposedly going to their whiney asses. Nikki isn't exactly the one to be talking about self-sacrifice, when so far we haven't seen her sacrifice ANYTHING. And when she is FORCED to sacrifice, she has childish fits.

Also, why is Nikki always just letting her kids go wild? Even Margie is attempting to fix what they are messing up in the store. Why isn't Nikki watching and taking care of her kids? So what if Barb doesn't go grocery shopping, she's out with Bill - not working. Maybe Nikki should wait until she has all the facts before she jumps to conclusions. Plus Barb provides money for Nikki to run around doing said grocery shopping. I feel absolutely no pity for Nikki at all. She says she's glad they had it out because she was tired of the pettiness, but honestly, I only see Nikki being petty and pathetic. She also completely ditched Margie with her kids while she ran off to do her own thing. And Nikki bitches about Barb! Pfft! I'm sure Margie has more of a reason to bitch about Nikki!

I've said this before, Bill is very insecure. He only wanted to jump Barb's bones the minute someone else thought she was hot. The senator or whatever was staring at her, and Bill decides to appease his jealousy by doing her in the car. Real manly. For once, he didn't even need to use a viagra! For that matter, why does he need to hide the empty bottle? I'm pretty sure some of them guessed something was instantly "up" when he wasn't going limp dicked on the other two chicks anymore.

I know that they are trying to keep it "fair" between all the wives, but honestly if he wants to screw his wife of 17 yrs - who was his one and original wife for years, then he can. If she gets more time then one of the others, oh fucking well, that's the comfort of being #1.

I'm sure that Ben (?) is going through a difficult time right now with his hormones, but I'm sorry, you don't get turned on shop class. That's just mentally fucked up. That can't even be blamed on hormones, and honestly how do you turn a piece of wood sexual!? I honestly hated seminary, and not just the men go. My husband attended seminary and he's not a snotty little asshole. He DOES have opinions, but then again this is coming from the town whore. We were never brainwashed, and never thought our bodies were dirty. LOL Whoever the fuck wrote that into there is a religious bigot.

I thought it was funny when they called the attorney general with the anonymous tip. I don't think Wendy bought his excuse, and honestly he should have said something like "yeah that's his sisters, and they wanted to know who was going to cut his hair". Situation diffused. Plus, Roman's response to the audit was hysterical. That business doesn't belong to him, so it's none of his business how the Bill's company is going.

Nikki is so fucking stupid. Apparently instead of assuming that he really does love his wife, she assumed there's another wife coming into the mix. What a moron. I'm surprised that she would be so happy with another wife. I wouldn't be happy at all with another, if I were her. Even less time with him. I'm surprised, and no Barb wouldn't "need a talking to" about another wife. If he wanted another wife, Barb seems like she couldn't handle even another one. Even with the little intervention they had with Margie, Nikki came across as a bitch agian. Why is she being such a snooping bitch? Fuck, why did he marry her?! I like how when she talks to Barb she acts like she is totally against it, yet to her friends she's estactic.

I know Margie doesn't have any friends or anything anymore, but that is life after marriage. Most wives (only wives) live's revolve around their children. For shit, she didn't even remember to put a diaper on her kid before the neighbor came over. She's not exactly someone I would want to be friends with either.

I don't think Nikki is really pregnant. I think she's just pissed about what Alby said and how Bill has been sneaking around with Barb. It's her form of payback.
